BHEL Bags 5 ICC PSE Excellence Awards 2024-25, Clinches Company of the Year Jury Award

New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been honoured with five prestigious PSE Excellence Awards by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for the year 2024-25. The recognition reaffirms BHEL’s leadership among Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and its significant contribution to nation-building.

The awards were presented during the 15th PSE Excellence Awards ceremony held in New Delhi.

BHEL received honours in the following categories:

  • Company of the Year – Jury Award
  • Contribution of Women & Differently Abled Resources in PSEs
  • Operational Performance
  • Corporate Governance
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

These accolades highlight the company’s strong performance across operational excellence, inclusive workforce practices, ethical governance, and impactful CSR initiatives.

Awards Presented by Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee

The awards were presented by Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, Former Secretary to the Government of India.

On behalf of BHEL, the honours were received by Ms. Bani Varma, Director (Industrial Systems & Products), and Mr. M. Sridhar, Executive Director (HR).

The ceremony recognized the outstanding contributions of CPSEs toward economic growth, infrastructure development, and public service delivery.
