Brijesh Dixit Appointed Managing Director of REIL, Jaipur

He was one amongst the three candidates selected from India for the coveted Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship of the government of United States of America.

Brijesh Dixit has taken over as the Managing Director of Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL), Jaipur, with effect from April 30. Prior to this role, he was serving on Eastern Railway, Kolkata as well as in National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (Bullet Train Project). 

His appointment has been made in accordance with the order issued by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India. 

Brijesh Dixit has done his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and his Masters in Mechanical(Thermal) Engineering from IIT Kanpur as well. 

He possesses domain knowledge of most of the aspects of the working of the Indian Railways and of the industries which supply goods and services or are in some way connected with the Railways. He has extensive experience of international contracting and project execution. 

He was one amongst the three candidates selected from India for the coveted Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship of the government of United States of America. He studied Technology Policy and Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. He has authored a book on matters related to the workings of Nature and Science using a poetic format.
