On Saturday, 12 September the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved the appointment of three IAS officers which are now posted in the Prime Minister’s Officer (PMO).
Among these three junior officers who have been assigned with a much bigger responsibility, one has been appointed as the Director and the other two as Deputy Director and Under Secretary in the PMO.
2004-batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer, Mr. Raghuraj Rajendran has been appointed as the Director in the PMO. Prior to this, he was serving as the Private Secretary to the Minister for Steel and Petroleum and Natural Gas (Dharmendra Pradhan) in the Ministry of Steel
Ms. Amrapali Kata, an Andra Pradesh cadre IAS officer of 2010-batch has been posted as Deputy Director in the PMO. She was earlier working as the Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat.
Lastly, Mr. Mangesh Ghildiyal, a 2012-batch IAS officer who was currently serving the Uttarakhand state government as the DM of Tehri has been appointed as the Under Secretary in the PMO.
