ACC Empanels 16 Bureaucrats From Various Services To Joint Secretary-equivalent Posts

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of 16 senior bureaucrats from various services, namely — Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS), Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), Indian Audit & Account Service (IA&AS), Indian Economic Service (IES), and Indian Revenue Service (IRS), to hold Joint Secretary-equivalent rank posts in the Government of India.

  • Mr. Balram Kumar (2004-batch IDAS officer);
  • Mr. Sangeet (2004-batch IDAS officer);
  • Ms. Smriti (2004-batch IA&AS officer);
  • Mr. Abhijit Phukon (2004-batch IES officer);
  • Mr. Samar Nanda (2004-batch IRS-C&IT officer);
