On Saturday, the Bureau of Police Research and Development celebrated its 51st foundation day at headquarter in New Delhi, Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah attended the programme and distributed trophies & medals to the winners.
Central Academy for Police Training (CAPT) Bhopal has been awarded the Home Minister’s medal for exemplary contribution in the field of Police Training for the year 2019-20.
IPS officer Mr. Pawan Srivastava, who is presently posted as CAPT Director Bhopal, was conferred with the prestigious medal. He was also conferred with the prestigious Home Ministers’ Disc for his dynamic leadership and excellent contribution to promoting the quality of training in the police training institutes in the country.
Besides this, Deputy Director Mr. Chander Prakash Saxena was also awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service at programme.
CAPT is a premier training institute for regular Deputy Superintendent of Police and for the training of Police instructors of all State Police.
