Mr Raj Kumar after returning from his central deputation has been given the charge of Additional Chie Secretary of Department of Home affairs, Gujrat. He succeeded Mr Rajiv Gupta as ACS. Mr Gupta was on additional charge of this post along with his own duties as Additional Chief Secretary, Industry and Mines.
Mr Raj Kumar is 1987 batch IAS officer from Gujrat Cadre. In April 2015 he was sent on the central deputation where he served in various departments such as Finance, Labor & Employment, and Department of Defense. Previously he was serving as Secretary Defense Production.
