17 officers of the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
The Central Government has issued the notification on Tuesday. The names of husband and wife duo Iqbal Khan and Dr. Rashmi Sharma are also included in this list.
Iqbal Khan and Dr. Rashmi Sharma are RAS officers of 1994 batch. At that time, Rashmi Sharma had secured the first position while Iqbal Khan got the sixth rank.
With the promotion, the cadre of these officers in the form of IAS will remain in Rajasthan.
