Bihar State Officers to take Oath on Prohibition of Alcohol

Bihar Chief Secretary Tripurari Sharan on Tuesday wrote a letter to all the Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates to attend the swearing-in programme which is being conducted on the prohibition of alcohol on November 26, which is also the de-addiction day. All the employees of Bihar government will administer an oath on this day.
The Chief Secretary has also sent a format along with the letter, in which the details of the oath to be taken have been given. After the oath, the report related to it will have to be made available to the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department. At the same time, the Urban Development and Housing Department has written a letter to all the municipal commissioners and executive officers and directed them to include local public representatives in the swearing-in program.
