2008 batch IRS-IT officer Gaurav Sharma’s deputation tenure has been extended in Berlin. He is first secretary in Income Tax Overseas Unit (ITOU) at Embassy of India, Berlin, Germany, and his tenure has been extended for a period of one year.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Revenue to extend the tenure of Sharma for a further period of one year with effect from 11.07.2022 and up to 10.07.2023 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post, whichever is earlier.
