According to a circular issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on May 7, Mr. Vijay Kumar Goel (Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering officer) was selected as the Director in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER). Mr. Goel has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
