Jharkhand: 42 officers of State Administrative Service Will Become IAS, CM Given Approval, File Sent to DoPT

After the consent in the UPSC board meeting, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given his approval on this.

42 officers from Jharkhand Administrative Service will be promoted to Indian Administrative Service (IAS) after chief minister’s approval. File has been already sent to The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

After the consent in the UPSC board meeting, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given his approval on this. The officials of the Personnel Department have gone to New Delhi and will hand over the file to the Union Personnel Ministry regarding promotion of officers.

After its approval, the Central Government will send it to the UPSC Board, from there, after getting the consent on the file, DoPT will issue a notification regarding promotion in IAS. Let us inform that the state government had prepared a list of 100 senior officers of Jharkhand Administrative Service and sent it to UPSC for promotion in IAS. A meeting was held in the UPSC board in New Delhi recently, in which it was agreed to promote 42 vacant posts. These vacancies were for two consecutive financial years. Soon after completing the entire process, JHP officers will be promoted to IAS. With this, the number of 42 new IAS will increase in Jharkhand.
