In a major reshuffle, the Punjab government issued a transfer order of 41 officers including 28 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.
According to the order – Mr Sukhchain Singh Gill has been made the Jalandhar Police Commissioner replacing Gurpreet Singh Bhullar who has now been posted as DIG Ludhiana Range. Shashi Prabha Dwivedi has been given the responsibility of ADGP (Vigilance Bureau). She will replace Vibhu Raj who has been made the ADGP (Lokpal).
Naunihal Singh will be the new Police Commissioner of Ludhiana. He replaces Rakesh Aggarwal who has been transferred as IG Rupnagar range. Vikramjit Singh Duggal will be the new Amritsar police commissioner.
Swapna Sharma will be new Sangrur SSP while Dhruman H Nimbale has taken the charge of SSP Moga. Vivek Sheel Soni has been appointed as SSP Ropar whereas, Amneet Kaundal will take charge as Hosiarpur District Police Chief.
Charanjit Singh transferred to Muktar as SSP whereas BS Meena will be Barnala SSP, Opinderjit Singh Ghuman has been made Tarn Taran SSP and Sandeep Goel as Fatehgarh Sahib SSP. J Elanchezhian transferred and posted as DCP (Law and order), Ludhiana while D Sudarvizhi has been sent to Amritsar as Joint Commissioner of Police.
Apart from this, the Punjab government also issued a transfer order of 15 IAS and three PCS officers. This includes, KK Yadav, who was on deputation in Chandigarh as Municipal Corporation Commissioner and has been posted as Director, Public Relations.
According to the orders, Sibin C, director, industries and commerce, has also been given the additional charge of director, Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration. Senu Duggal, additional secretary of information and public relations, will also hold the additional charge of CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion.
