Mr. Ashok Shah, an IAS officer of 1990 Batch from MP cadre, has been promoted to the Chief Secretary pay scale. The MP Government also posted Mr. Shah as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Women and Child Development (WCD) Department. His posting will be equivalent to Chairman of Revenue Board in the state.
Earlier he was posted as Principal Secretary of the Woman and Child Development Department. He would also hold the additional charge as Director of Tribal Research and Development Institute.
