The Sikkim government issued transfer and posting orders of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the state. This includes 1995 batch IAS officer Ravindra Telang who has been shifted from the home department.
Mr Telang has now been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary Education department, Sikkim.
D Anandan, a 2000 batch IAS, presently Commissioner-cum-Secretary- Health & Family Welfare Department has been transferred as Commissioner-cum-Secretary- Rural Development Department, Sikkim.
C S Rao, 1993 batch IFS officer, presently Principal Secretary Rural Development Department transferred as Principal Secretary- Mines & Geology Department, Sikkim
Apart from this three more Sikkim Civil Service (SCS) officers were transferred.
