New Delhi: The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has made significant announcements regarding the promotion and transfer of senior officials across various key positions.
In a major move, several senior officers have been promoted to the ranks of Principal Chief Commissioner (PCC), Principal Director General, Chief Commissioner (CC), and Director General (DG) of Customs and Indirect Taxes.
Promotions to Principal Chief Commissioner (PCC):
- Raj Kumar (IRS-C&IT:1990) – Directorate General of Anti-Profiteering (DG AP)
- Valte Vungzamuam (IRS-C&IT:1990) – Directorate General of Human Resource Development (DG HRD), Infrastructure & Welfare (I&W)
- Amand Shah (IRS-C&IT:1991) – DG HRD, Human Resources Management (HRM)
- Chandra Prakash Goyal (IRS-C&IT:1991) – Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax (DG GST), Delhi
