The central deputation tenure of Dharmendra Sharma has been extended till 30.09.2023 i.e. the date of his superannuation. An IAS of 1988 batch and AGMUT cadre Mr. Sharma is serving as Director General (DG), India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM). He is due to retire on 30th September this year.
Let it be noted that DG (Training) in Election Commission of India was upgraded and re-designated as DG, IIIDEM.
