The central deputation tenure of Abhishek Singh (IAS: 1995: NL) as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MEITy) has been officially extended.
An order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) confirmed that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of Mr. Singh’s tenure beyond the original end date of 03 December 2024. His new tenure will last until 20 June 2026, or until further orders, whichever comes first.
This extension reflects the government’s confidence in Singh’s leadership and expertise in the critical field of electronics and information technology.
