Central Transferred 30 Officers, Rajeev Verma Posted as Advisor, Chandigarh

The Union ministry of Home has issued transfer and posting of several IAS & IPS officer. The list include three senior AGMUT cadre IAS officers who were posted to senior positions in three Union Territories, including the national capital.

Rajeev Verma, a 1992-batch IAS officer who had been serving as the Chief Secretary of Puducherry since May 2022, has now been posted as Advisor to the Administrator, Chandigarh. The post was lying vacant since the retirement of Dharampal, a 1988-batch IAS officer, in October last year.

Whereas 1994-batch IAS officer Sharat Chauhan has been made the CS of Puducherry. He was currently the Principal Secretary, Finance, Planning and Investment in Arunachal Pradesh

Navin Kumar Choudhary, a 1994-batch officer has been transferred to Delhi. He was serving as the Principal Secretary of the General Administration Department in the Mizoram Government.

In a separate order the MHA reshuffled across the AGMUT cadre. According to the order 17 IAS and 13 IPS has been given new posting. While four IAS and seven IPS officers have been transferred out, three IAS and five IPS officers transferred to the Capital. The list include 2009-batch officer Amarnath Talwade.
