The Central Government has extended the tenures of three Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) serving in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), as per recent official orders. Two of the officers, who were already handling additional charges of CVO roles in other PSUs, will continue in those positions as well.

Here are the key updates:

  • Ramesha G (IRS-IT:2005) has been granted a one-year extension as CVO of Karnataka Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Limited (KAPL), Bengaluru. His extended tenure will now run till May 29, 2026, or until further orders.
  • Rajnish Singh (IRSME:2003), who currently serves as the CVO of GAIL (India) Limited, will continue to hold additional charge as CVO of Engineers India Limited (EIL). This extension is valid from April 28, 2025, to May 30, 2025, or until further notice, in the absence of regular CVO Shruti Agnihotri (IRAS:1998).
  • Manoj Kumar (IRS-IT:2003), the designated CVO of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), will retain additional charge as CVO of Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) for a period of six months starting January 3, 2025, or until the disinvestment of SCI, or further orders — whichever is earlier.
