1996 batch Andhra Pradesh cadre IPS officer, Ms. Bhavna Saxena, was appointed the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), replacing IAS officer Rahul Sharma (1998 batch, Jharkhand cadre).
Ms. Saxena, who had previously served as the Special Commissioner at the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board, shall be on this post till February 15, 2027, or until she receives further notifications.
