Chhattisgarh government has issued the promotion of more than a dozen IPS officers. According to the orders four officers have been promoted from SSP to DIG while four officers have been made IG from DIG and seven IPS officers have been given the benefit of promotion from SP to SSP.
Sheikh Arif Hussain, Amresh Mishra, Rahul Bhagat and Dhruv Gupta have been made IGs. Besides Sheikh Arif Hussain, all the three IPS officers are on central deputation, so they will be given proforma promotion.
Meanwhile four IPS of 2009 batch including Amit Tukaram Kamble, Prakhar Pandey and Manish Sharma, D. Ravi Shankar has been promoted from SSP to DIG. Sadanand Kumar, Abhishek Meena and Girja Shankar Jaiswal of 2010 batch, Sujit Kumar, MR Panwar and Arvind Kujur including Shankarlal Baghel have been promoted to SSP rank.
