Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs. 3.45 crore in the Duldula development block of Jashpur district during a public programme held on International Yoga Day. The event witnessed participation from senior officials, public representatives, and villagers.
Developmental Push in Duldula
As part of the developmental push, the Chief Minister inaugurated a newly constructed rural haat market shed built at a cost of Rs. 22.36 lakh. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for 10 other projects estimated at Rs. 2.78 crore. The Chief Minister also announced the beautification of the tourist destination Nageratukku and the construction of a cultural pavilion for the potters’ community at Dumardih.
Yoga for Health and Harmony
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sai extended greetings on the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day and stressed the importance of yoga for physical and mental well-being. He praised Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for globalising yoga, which is now recognised and practiced in numerous countries as an ancient Indian science of wellness.
Rural Connectivity
Mr. Sai also announced the commencement of a bus service from Mayurchundi to Duldula under the Chief Minister Rural Bus Scheme and confirmed that approval has been granted for the construction of a new bus stand in Duldula. He reiterated the state’s commitment to fulfilling the promises made under the ‘Modi Guarantee’ and highlighted the approval of 18 lakh houses in the first cabinet meeting of the new government under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Empowering Villages and Citizens
The Chief Minister noted that banking facilities are being extended to rural areas through the Atal Digital Suvidha Kendras, which are set to be launched in all gram panchayats on the upcoming Panchayat Day. He also spoke about reforms in land registration under the “10 New Revolutions,” making the process more transparent, digital, and citizen-friendly.
