Chhattisgarh Transfers 11 IAS Officers; Kuldeep Sharma Appointed Balodabazar Collector

The Chhattisgarh government has ordered a reshuffle of 11 IAS officers, issuing transfer and additional charge postings late in the evening through the General Administration Department.

Among the key changes, Kuldeep Sharma has been appointed as the new Collector of Balodabazar. The outgoing Collector, Deepak Soni, has been relieved from the post for central deputation.

Dr. C. R. Prasanna Given Additional Charge

Dr. C. R. Prasanna (2006 batch), currently serving as Secretary, Cooperative Department, has been assigned additional responsibilities. Along with his existing charge, he will now serve as Commissioner of Cooperation and Registrar, Cooperative Societies.

Tirthraj Agrawal has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Planning, Economics and Statistics Department and will also hold additional charge of the Endowments and Religious Trusts Department.

Leena Kosam’s Post Upgraded

Leena Kosam has been retained as Controller of Examinations at the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission in Nawa Raipur. From the date she assumes charge, the post has been declared equivalent to the Senior Pay Scale under the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2016.

Officers Continue in Existing Roles

Several officers will continue in their present positions:

  • Saumil Ranjan Choubey — Deputy Secretary, Agriculture Department
  • Birendra Bahadur Panchbhai — Additional Collector, Narayanpur
  • Sumit Agarwal — Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Durg
  • Sandeep Kumar Agarwal — Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Bilaspur
  • Rishabh Kumar Parashar — Deputy Secretary, Finance

New Assignments for Ashish Tikriha, Tarun Kiran

Ashish Kumar Tikriha has been appointed Managing Director of the Chhattisgarh Warehousing Corporation. The post carries a status equivalent to the senior pay scale.

Tarun Kumar Kiran has been posted as Officer on Special Duty in the Collector’s Office, Korba.

The reshuffle reflects routine administrative adjustments aimed at strengthening governance and departmental functioning across the state.
