Raipur: In the annual elections of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Association, Chhattisgarh, Sanjita Gupta, Additional PCCF (Finance/Budget and Production), has been unanimously elected as the President of the association.
Known for her integrity and experience, 1997 batch IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre, Ms Gupta is regarded as one of the most respected officers in the state forest department.
Her appointment has been widely welcomed, with expectations of positive and constructive initiatives for the welfare of IFS officers under her leadership.
Key Positions Filled Unanimously
All positions in the association’s executive body were filled through unanimous selection, reflecting a spirit of unity among forest officials.

- Vice President: Raju Agasi Mani (posted at CSF, Raipur)
- Secretary: Alok Tiwari (currently Wildlife CF)
- Joint Secretary: Guru Nathan (DCF, Land Management)
- Treasurer: Loknath Patel (DFO, Raipur)
Executive Committee Formed with 15 Members
Along with the main office bearers, 15 IFS officers have been selected as members of the Executive Committee of the association. Their role will be to support the core team in decision-making and coordinating association activities across Chhattisgarh.

PCCF V. Srinivas Rao Congratulates New Team
The association’s patron and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force, V. Srinivas Rao, extended his congratulations to the newly elected team. He expressed confidence that the new executive will strengthen the voice of Forest Service officers, enhance professional cooperation, and support departmental goals.
