Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Fed Expo-2025 at the GIA Exhibition Centre in Govindpura, Bhopal, on Thursday. During the event, the CM toured the exhibition showcasing products from various industries and even hummed the popular song “Mera Joota Hai Japani” by legendary actor Raj Kapoor.

Long-Term Vision for Industrial Development

Addressing the gathering, CM Dr. Yadav highlighted the importance of long-term government commitment to attract industrial investment. “Governments are elected for five years, but industrialists and investors come to the state based on trust. Therefore, the state government must remain committed to industrial development for the next 25 years,” he said.

He emphasized that industries are the primary source of funds for development, and promoting trade and commerce is a top priority. Over the past four decades, the Madhya Pradesh Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry (MPFACCI) has played a crucial role in boosting the state’s business ecosystem.

Investment Proposals and Project Implementation

Through initiatives like GIS and the Industry Conclave, the state has already received investment proposals worth ₹8 lakh crore, of which projects worth ₹6 lakh crore have moved to the ground implementation stage. To accelerate the remaining ₹2 lakh crore investment, the Union Home Minister has been invited to the state, reflecting Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for industrial growth.

Emphasis on Industrial Growth for Development

CM Dr. Yadav concluded by stressing that industrial development is essential for generating employment and funding overall state development. The government aims to create an ecosystem where trust, transparency, and infrastructure attract investors and ensure sustainable industrial growth over the long term.
