Lucknow: Continuing the tradition of public welfare and citizen engagement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath personally listened to more than 60 grievances during the Janata Darshan program held on Monday. People from various districts of the state attended the session to present issues ranging from police complaints and land disputes to financial assistance.
During the program, the Chief Minister interacted individually with each petitioner, carefully noting their concerns and instructing officials to ensure prompt and effective resolution. Emphasizing the government’s commitment to the safety, dignity, and support of every citizen, CM Yogi stated that the administration’s responsibility extends beyond merely registering complaints—it must guarantee justice and satisfaction for all.
Diverse Issues Brought to Attention
Among the grievances presented, citizens highlighted cases of theft, family disputes, land conflicts, and financial difficulties. Several petitioners expressed dissatisfaction with police actions, citing instances where stolen property had not been recovered or land encroachments had not been addressed. Responding firmly, the Chief Minister directed officials to conduct impartial investigations and ensure that victims received appropriate relief and satisfaction.
In a notable instance, a woman seeking financial assistance for medical treatment was reassured by the CM: “You only send the hospital estimate; focus on the patient’s care. No treatment should be delayed due to lack of funds. The government stands with every needy person.” His assurance created an atmosphere of trust and empathy among attendees.
Personal Connect with Children and Families
The program also saw the Chief Minister interacting warmly with children accompanying their parents. CM Yogi Adityanath spoke to the young ones, patted their heads affectionately, and distributed chocolates. Encouraging them to excel in education and sports, he urged the children to strive to make their families proud. This human touch added a deeply personal and motivational dimension to the Janata Darshan.
Focus on Accountability and Justice
Throughout the session, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for time-bound resolution of complaints and instructed officials to provide regular feedback on progress. By addressing both minor and major issues personally, CM Yogi reinforced the government’s pledge to uphold the rule of law, ensure justice, and strengthen citizen trust in public institutions.
The Janata Darshan program once again highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s proactive governance model, where the administration engages directly with citizens to understand their problems, provide solutions, and foster a culture of transparency, empathy, and accountability.
