Sonipat/Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath on Thursday issued a strong warning against love jihad, illegal religious conversions, and anti-national conspiracies, stating that there will be no compromise on the safety and dignity of women. He said that exploitation of daughters in any form will not be tolerated and such activities will be stopped firmly and decisively.
CM Yogi was addressing the idol consecration ceremony and the grand Asht Maan Bhandara of the Nath tradition at Baba Nagewala Dham in Murthal, Sonipat district of Haryana.
“Nation and Dharma Above Everything for a Yogi”
Yogi Adityanath said that for a Yogi, saint, or ascetic, nothing is greater than the Nation and Dharma. He stated that a true Yogi has no personal wealth, as Dharma is his only property and the Nation his self-respect. Anyone who challenges national dignity must be opposed openly and firmly, he said.
He also warned about individuals acting as ‘Kaalnemis’, who harm Sanatan Dharma under the guise of religion, urging people to remain cautious and alert.

Strong Stand Against Love Jihad and Illegal Conversions
The Chief Minister reiterated his resolve to completely curb illegal religious conversions and love jihad conspiracies. He said attempts to change the country’s demography and exploit women in the name of love would be stopped through strict action and public awareness.
Referring to a 2009 Kerala High Court observation, CM Yogi recalled that love jihad was described as a conspiracy to change the demographic character of the state, adding that similar patterns are now visible in many parts of the country.

Importance of Family Values and Cultural Awareness
CM Yogi expressed concern over the decline of the joint family system, saying it once played a key role in shaping values and character. He stressed the need to revive family traditions, stating that a strong nation is built on strong families, values, and cultural consciousness.
Nath Panth: Foundation of India’s Spiritual Heritage
Praising the Nath Panth, CM Yogi described it as one of India’s oldest spiritual traditions and the foundation of Sanatan and spiritual heritage. He said the idol consecration ceremony and Asht Maan Bhandara reflected deep respect for Guru traditions and public faith.
He welcomed and felicitated all saints, Yogis, and devotees present, stating that the Nath tradition has always inspired social unity and purposeful living.

India’s Cultural Revival Under PM Modi
CM Yogi said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” is becoming a reality. After centuries of foreign invasions, India is reclaiming its cultural pride and spiritual strength.
He cited the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and the Ram Temple in Ayodhya as symbols of India’s resurgence. He noted the massive and peaceful participation of devotees in Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and the Magh Mela, calling this era the beginning of a new millennium belonging to India.
Warning on Drugs and Call for Water Conservation
CM Yogi also warned about the drug menace, saying enemies who cannot defeat India directly try to weaken the nation by pushing narcotics across borders. He urged society to protect youth and oppose such activities collectively.
On water conservation, he stressed that no one has the right to pollute sacred rivers and highlighted the importance of protecting ponds for future generations. He also appreciated Haryana’s efforts to revive the Saraswati River.

Large Gathering of Saints and Devotees
During the event, CM Yogi performed havan and aarti and was honoured with an idol of Guru Gorakhnath. He thanked the organizers for the successful event, which saw participation from a large number of saints, public representatives, and devotees from across the country.
The ceremony included the idol consecration of Siddha Yogis 1008 Mahant Kale Baba Nath Ji, Yogi Bajir Nath Ji, and Yogi Prem Nath Ji, along with the grand Asht Maan Bhandara at Baba Nagewala Dham.
