PSU Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Shipping Corporation of India Limited (SCI). The MoU aims to explore business opportunities for leveraging each other’s infrastructure and experience to offer customers seamless and cost-effective end-to-end logistics services under a single window and shall enable CONCOR to venture into new areas such as international shipping, coastal shipping, Inland Waterways trade and other such related fields.
Both CONCOR and SCI are PSUs — while the former is a Rail PSU engaged in the transportation and handling of containers, the latter is a shipping PSU engaged in the operations and managing of vessels servicing national and international lines.
