New Delhi: In a disturbing and bizarre incident, Deepak Khoda, a Section Officer in the Central Secretariat Service (CSS), attempted suicide by jumping from the 7th floor of Shastri Bhawan in New Delhi earlier today. However, in a stroke of fate, Mr Khoda landed on a vehicle carrying water bottles, which is believed to have softened his fall, potentially saving his life.
Immediate Medical Attention and Current Status
After the fall, 2015 batch officer Mr Khoda was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in an ambulance. Authorities confirmed that Mr Khoda is now stable and conscious. He has suffered a fractured hand, but doctors are still awaiting results from his whole-body scan to check for internal bleeding or any other hidden injuries.
