New Delhi: In a recent administrative reshuffle within the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD), four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the AGMUT cadre have been assigned significant postings after being in waiting positions.
The latest orders bring clarity to the roles of Shashwat Saurabh, Talo Potom, Anil Agarwal and Ravi Dadhich, each of whom had recently reported to the GNCTD but had yet to receive formal assignments.
Shashwat Saurabh Appointed to MCD
Shashwat Saurabh, IAS officer of the 2016 batch (AGMUT cadre), has been transferred and posted to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Until this new assignment, he was attached to the GNCTD and awaiting posting.
Talo Potom to Serve as Special Secretary (PWD)
Talo Potom, also from the 2016 AGMUT batch, has been posted as the Special Secretary of the Public Works Department (PWD), GNCTD. Mr Potom, who had also been awaiting a posting after joining GNCTD, brings field experience from earlier stints in the northeastern states of India.
Anil Agarwal Appointed Principal Director, Forensic Laboratory
Anil Agarwal, an IAS officer from the 2015 AGMUT batch, has been appointed as the Principal Director of the Forensic Laboratory, GNCTD. Previously on the waiting list post his joining, Agarwal will now oversee forensic investigations, a key area that supports law enforcement and judicial processes.
Ravi Dadhich IAS Appointed Special Secretary (Power) with Addl Charges
Ravi Dadhich, IAS officer of the AGMUT 2014 batch, currently serving in the GNCTD and awaiting posting, has been transferred and posted as the Special Secretary (Power) for GNCTD.
In addition to this key role, Mr Dadhich will also hold the additional charges of Managing Director (MD) for both the Indraprastha Power Generation Company Limited (IPGCL) and the Pragati Power Corporation Limited (PPCL).
These appointments aim to strengthen the operational and administrative framework across key departments of Delhi’s governance system.
