The contribution of Police personnels in the fight against Covid-19 has been remarkable. Chhattisgarh’s police personnels also performed extremely well as front line Corona Warriors. Taking their performance into consideration the DGP Mr. DM Awasthi decided to honor those who majorly contributed in the fight. IPS officer Mr. Awasthi honoured about 500 officers, employees of Chhattisgarh Police with Corona Warrior’s honor in a virtual meeting today. He said that the police not only handled law and order during the lockdown but also showed human face of policing in difficult circumstances.
