The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) successfully hosted the DGR Job Fair 2025 on August 2 at its Janakpuri Centre in Delhi, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR). The event was aimed at facilitating meaningful employment opportunities for serving and ex-servicemen trained in various IT and emerging technologies at NIELIT centres in Delhi, Jammu, and Ropar.

Over 190 Candidates, 14 Companies, and 250+ Job Opportunities
More than 190 candidates registered for the job fair, which saw participation from 14 reputed companies offering over 250 job vacancies across domains like IT support, cybersecurity, logistics, administration, and digital services. These positions were tailored to match the skill sets of DGR-trained veterans.
Inauguration and Motivational Address by NIELIT Leadership
The fair was inaugurated by Mr. Subhanshu Tiwari, Executive Director of NIELIT Delhi, who lit the ceremonial lamp and delivered a motivational address. He highlighted the importance of skill-based training and expressed that the transition from military service to civilian careers must be fully supported through platforms like this. “This job fair is not just a recruitment event—it is a bridge between valour and vocation,” he said.
Strong Support from DGR Officials
Group Captain Sanjay Roy, Director (Training), and Lt Col Jaideep Singh, Joint Director (Training), both from DGR, were present as Guests of Honour. Group Captain Roy assured participants that more training and skilling programs would be conducted in the future to enhance employability for veterans. He commended NIELIT’s role in offering a reliable platform for ex-servicemen to connect with corporate recruiters.
Prominent Recruiters Join Hands
Companies that participated included CyberPeace, Kaidoko, G4S, RRGAURDUS, Sidhi Infonet, Stalwart Group, Trig, SiSProsegur, and Onfinity Technologies, among others. These recruiters expressed appreciation for the discipline, dedication, and technical preparedness of the ex-servicemen.

In his welcome address, Dr. Alok Tripathi, Director (Scheme & Skilling) and Chief Controller of Examination, NIELIT, reiterated the organization’s commitment to bridging the gap between training and placement. He emphasized NIELIT’s mission to create a seamless skilling ecosystem that empowers professionals across sectors.

The job fair highlighted a strong collaboration between government institutions and private sector employers, reinforcing the message that the nation stands with its veterans in their career transformation journey.
