Mumbai: In a major step towards building future-ready leadership, Coal India Limited (CIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai for the second edition of its Executive Post Graduate Programme (PGPEx) in “Logistics and Operations Excellence through Digitisation.”
The MoU was signed by Dr. Vinay Ranjan, Director (HR), Coal India, and Prof. Manoj K. Tiwari, Director, IIM Mumbai, at the IIM campus in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
Future-Ready Skilling Under PM Gati Shakti Vision
The programme is tailored exclusively for executives of Coal India and its subsidiaries. It is strategically aligned with the Government of India’s PM Gati Shakti initiative, which aims to enhance multimodal connectivity and infrastructure efficiency across sectors.
This one-year course focuses on enhancing capabilities in logistics, supply chain management, and operational excellence through digitisation. It is designed to help executives lead digital transformation, streamline operations, and improve strategic decision-making across the PSU’s vast network.
