New Delhi: GAIL (India) Limited, the country’s leading natural gas company, has been conferred with two prestigious awards at the 19th National Award for Excellence in Cost Management 2025, organized by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
At a grand felicitation ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on June 23, 2025, the awards were presented by Shri Bhartruhari Mahtab, Member of Parliament and Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Finance.
GAIL Honoured in Two Distinct Categories
GAIL secured top honours in the following categories-
- Public Sector – Large (Manufacturing Sector) for its Petrochemical Plant at Pata, Uttar Pradesh
- City Gas Distribution (Service Sector) for excellence in efficient and cost-effective energy delivery
The awards were received by Mr S. K. Sinha, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), along with other senior executives from GAIL.
Recognition of Strategic Cost Efficiency
The awards reflect GAIL’s ongoing commitment to strategic cost management, operational efficiency, and financial prudence across its extensive energy value chain – from production to distribution.
