Lucknow: Marking Independence Day celebrations, Uttra Club of NTPC Northern Region Headquarters distributed motorised tricycles to specially-abled individuals in Lucknow under its CSR initiative on August 15, 2025.
Empowering Through Mobility
The distribution was held under the guidance of Bipasa Deb, President, Uttra Club, in the presence of Sangita Singha Ray, Vice President, Nupur Dutta, Secretary, along with senior members and club representatives.
In collaboration with NTPC-NRHQ, the club provided five motorised tricycles to beneficiaries identified by the Divyangjan Sashaktikaran Vibhag, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Improving Lives with Independence
The beneficiaries, who had an urgent need for mobility support, will now experience greater independence in their daily lives. The motorised tricycles are expected to reduce dependency on others and help them participate more actively in society.
