New Delhi: Indian Railways record growth 2025-26 highlights a major milestone in India’s transport sector, as per official data. In the financial year 2025–26, Indian Railways carried a record 741 crore passengers and achieved strong growth in freight transport. Both passenger revenue and cargo movement have increased significantly, showing better efficiency and rising demand.

Indian Railways reported a strong rise in passenger traffic this year.
