The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of central deputation tenures for three senior IAS officers, according to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
The names of the officers are as follows:
2010 batch IAS officer Subodh Kumar of Tamil Nadu cadre will continue as Director in the Ministry of Ayush until October 10, 2026, or until further orders.
1995 batch IAS officer Mritunjay Kumar Narayan of Uttar Pradesh cadre will serve as Registrar General of India and Census Commissioner of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, until August 4, 2026.
1995 batch IAS officer Sandhya V Sharma of Tamil Nadu cadre will remain as Additional Secretary of the Department of Space until October 3, 2025.
