New Delhi: In a move to strengthen leadership across key defence public sector undertakings, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a series of senior appointments. The changes cover MIDHANI, GRSE, BEML, and the Central Vigilance Commission.
Sunil Kumar Panangadan Takes Charge as Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel), GRSE
Mr Sunil Kumar Panangadan, who has been serving as Chief General Manager at Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE), has been elevated to the post of Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel). The ACC’s nod marks a significant step forward for GRSE’s internal planning and human resource functions.
Sachin Dighde Appointed Director (Defence Business), BEML Ltd
Mr Sachin Dighde, presently working as Chief Rolling Stock Engineer in the Ministry of Railways, has been appointed as Director (Defence Business) at BEML Ltd. His induction, approved by the Department of Defence Production, is expected to further bolster BEML’s defence vertical.
Kapil Deo Narayan to Join CVC as Chief Technical Examiner
Apart from PSU roles, the ACC has also cleared an important vigilance-related appointment. Mr Kapil Deo Narayan, Superintending Engineer (Civil) at the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), has been named Chief Technical Examiner in the Central Vigilance Commission. His role will involve strengthening technical oversight and preventive vigilance measures.
Madhubala Kalluri Promoted as Director (Finance), MIDHANI
Ms Madhubala Kalluri, General Manager at Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), has been appointed as the new Director (Finance) of the organisation. Her appointment follows a formal proposal from the Department of Defence Production. Known for her experience in strategic finance roles, she will now play a critical role in steering MIDHANI’s financial strategy.
