GAIL (India) Honoured with Best Exhibition Stall (Runner-Up) Award at 28th Energy Technology Meet 2025 in Hyderabad

New Delhi: GAIL (India) Limited has been conferred with the Best Exhibition Stall (Runner-Up) Award at the 28th Energy Technology Meet (ETM), organised by the Centre for High Technology (CHT) under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. The prestigious event was held in Hyderabad from October 28 to 30, 2025, and witnessed participation from leading organisations across the energy sector.

Recognition for Innovation and Excellence

The award was presented by Ms. Varsha Sinha, Secretary, Oil Industry Development Board (OIDB), and R. C. Agarwal, Executive Director, CHT, during the valedictory ceremony of the three-day event. GAIL’s exhibition stall stood out for its interactive design, advanced technological displays, and innovative presentation, earning appreciation from visitors and industry professionals alike.

Showcasing India’s First PDH-PP Plant Model

A key attraction at GAIL’s stall was the model of India’s first Propane Dehydrogenation and Polypropylene (PDH-PP) Plant, symbolising a major milestone in India’s petrochemical sector. The display highlighted GAIL’s leadership in driving the nation’s move towards petrochemical self-sufficiency, reducing import dependence, and promoting indigenous technology development.

The stall also featured GAIL’s latest initiatives in renewable energy, carbon reduction, digital transformation, and energy efficiency, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable and cleaner energy solutions.

The Energy Technology Meet serves as a vital platform for industry experts, researchers, and policymakers to deliberate on emerging technologies, operational improvements, and strategies for a low-carbon and energy-efficient future. The 2025 edition of the meet featured discussions on technological innovations, process optimisation, and pathways for achieving energy transition goals.
