- Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) network to be expanded across 3,200+ km

Kavach Support in North Central Railway
- Investment: ₹176.76 crore
- Coverage: 2,196 route kilometres
Divisions included:
- Prayagraj (1,016 km)
- Jhansi (709 km)
- Agra (471 km)
This project will support faster rollout of Kavach and improve high-density route safety.
Electronic Interlocking in South Central Railway
- Total cost: ₹578.02 crore
- Coverage: 49 stations
Work includes:
- Replacing old panel systems with modern electronic interlocking
- Reducing manual errors
- Improving signalling efficiency
