The state government of Odisha will showcase its development schemes to young IAS officers. The state will present its transformative governance and women empowerment initiatives through Mission Shakti and success story in disaster management to 181 young IAS officers and two others from Royal Bhutan services, who are visiting the state for four days from May 29.
The IAS officers of 2021-batch, who are undergoing training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, are visiting the state under the Bharat Darshan programme.
A senior government officer said, “It is a matter of privilege and prestige for the state that that entire batch of young IAS officers are coming to Odisha to learn about the development and transformational initiatives undertaken in the state. The visit of the young officers proves that Odisha is a model state in terms of better governance and development.”
