Jaipur: The Rajasthan government transfers 21 IPS officers in a major administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening policing and improving governance across key districts. The transfer order, issued by the state’s Department of Personnel, includes senior-level changes such as Additional Directors General (ADGs), Inspector Generals (IGs), the Jodhpur Police Commissioner, and the Jaipur Special Commissioner.
According to the official transfer list released on February 24, the reshuffle affects important police ranges including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, and several specialized wings like ATS, ACB, SOG, Intelligence, and Training.

1. ADG Crime to ADG PHQ
- Hawa Singh, who was serving as ADG Crime, has been transferred to ADG Police Headquarters (PHQ).
2. New ADG Crime
- Bipin Kumar Pandey has been appointed as the new ADG Crime.
- He was earlier serving as ADG Recruitment and Promotion Board.
3. Intelligence and Training Elevations
- Praful Kumar, IG Intelligence, has been promoted and posted as ADG Intelligence.
- Raghvendra Suhasa, IG Jaipur Range, has been elevated and transferred as ADG Training.
These changes strengthen intelligence gathering and police training mechanisms in the state.

Jodhpur Police Commissioner
- Sharat Kaviraj, IG SOG, has been appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Jodhpur.
- Outgoing Commissioner Om Prakash has been posted as Special Police Commissioner, Jaipur.
Jaipur Police
- Rahul Prakash, earlier Special Police Commissioner Jaipur, has been appointed as IG Jaipur Range.
This reshuffle ensures leadership realignment in two major urban centers of Rajasthan.
Changes in Special Units (ATS, ACB, SOG, ANTF)
Anti-Terrorism and Narcotics
- Vikas Kumar, who was handling both ATS and ANTF, will now exclusively head the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF).
- Rajesh Singh, previously DIG ACB, has been appointed as IG ATS.
This indicates focused restructuring in anti-terror and anti-drug operations.
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)
- S Parimal has been transferred from IG Personnel at PHQ to IG ACB.
Special Operations Group (SOG)
- Ajay Pal Lamba has been shifted from IG SCRB to IG SOG, Jaipur.

- He replaces Ajay Pal Lamba, who has now moved to SOG.
