Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is these days reaching out to bureaucrats to seek their help in rebuilding the state, 55 days after taking office. On Thursday, the chief minister and his wife met with IPS personnel to ask for help in rebuilding the state. This was not the first time that the Telangana chief minister reached out to bureaucrats.
He had already gone to the IAS Officers’ Association New Year celebrations with his wife and spent some time conversing with the officers. Some bureaucrats who have met with Mr. Revanth praised his open approach towards soliciting advice and experience from top IAS and IPS officers on how to govern the state and overcome the financial problem.
“Earlier, it was only one-way communication, implementing the orders or directions of the CM or bosses. Now, it’s a two-way communication, and the CM listens to others and asks for suggestions,” a top state government official said.
