In a strategic move to accelerate development across multiple sectors, the Uttarakhand Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami, approved six significant proposals during a high-level meeting held on Wednesday. High Court Strengthened with New Advocate Posts
To enhance legal services and administrative capacity, the Cabinet approved the creation of two new advocate posts at the High Court Establishment Office. Additionally, posts for senior chief, private secretary, and stenographer were sanctioned to streamline judicial operations and improve public service delivery.
Land Allocated for Development in Udham Singh Nagar
A key infrastructure push came in the form of land allocation—9.918 hectares in the Udham Singh Nagar district have been allotted to the District Development Authority. This step is expected to fast-track local development projects and public infrastructure in the region.
Dehradun City Transport Limited Formed to Ease Urban Traffic
With growing congestion in the state capital, the formation of Dehradun City Transport Limited marks a major step in improving urban transport. The new agency will oversee planning and management of public transportation in Dehradun, aiming to deliver more efficient and sustainable transit solutions.
Poultry Feed Subsidy Scheme Launched for Hilly Districts
In a boost to livestock farmers, especially in hilly terrains, the Cabinet approved a poultry feed subsidy scheme under the Animal Husbandry Department. Targeting 9 hill districts, the scheme will disburse Rs. 2 crore 25 lakh 85 thousand in subsidies. This move is expected to reduce input costs and promote poultry farming in less accessible areas.
