Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, inaugurated the highly anticipated GRIDCON 2025 on Sunday at the India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC), Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi. The International Conference-cum-Exhibition, organized by Power Grid from March 9 to 11, is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Power in association with CIGRE India.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Union Minister of State for Power & New and Renewable Energy, Shripad Yesso Naik, along with Power Grid Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) RK Tyagi and senior officials from the Ministry of Power, Power Grid, and other Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in the power sector. The event also saw significant participation from global power sector professionals, industry leaders, and experts.

GRIDCON 2025 serves as a premier forum for industry stakeholders, utilities, professionals, researchers, and academicians to engage in discussions on vital aspects of the power sector. Key themes for the conference include renewable energy integration, grid resilience, asset management, and digital transformation. The event is expected to attract over 2000 delegates, present 150 technical papers, and host 150 exhibition companies, along with representatives from 30 countries.
With its theme “Innovations in Grid Resilience,” the conference will focus on emerging technologies, infrastructure advancements, and smart solutions aimed at transforming power generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption.
