Kolkata: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), a premier warship-building company under the Ministry of Defence, has been conferred with the “19th National Award for Excellence in Cost Management – 2024” by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). This esteemed recognition reflects GRSE’s unwavering commitment to cost competitiveness, financial transparency, and strategic resource management.
The award was presented during a grand ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on 23rd June 2025. Smt. Aparajita Ghosh, General Manager (Finance), GRSE, received the award on behalf of the company.
Individual Recognition for Former CFO
In a notable individual achievement, Shri Ramesh Kumar Dash, former Director (Finance) and CFO of GRSE, was honoured with the “Best CMA Achiever Award 2024” under the Public – Manufacturing – Medium category. The award acknowledges his significant contribution to enhancing GRSE’s financial practices and institutionalising strong cost management frameworks during his tenure.
