Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and BEML Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on leadership and technical training programs aimed at skill development and professional excellence. The agreement was formalized on Tuesday.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Srikantha Sharma, Executive Director, HMA, and Ms. Monideepa Roy, Head (Talent Management) of BEML, in the presence of Mr. A.B. Pradhan, Director (HR) of HAL; Mr. Debi Prasad Satpathy, Director (HR) of BEML; Mr. M.G. Balasubrahmanya, ED (HR) of HAL, and senior representatives from both organizations.
Under this strategic collaboration, the HAL Management Academy (HMA) will design and deliver induction training, middle and senior management training, specialized workshops, and certification programs in critical domains such as Six Sigma, Quality, Reliability, Data Analytics, and Industry 4.0. Additionally, the partnership will facilitate industrial visits, knowledge-sharing sessions, joint conferences, internships, and project-based learning opportunities for BEML professionals.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pradhan emphasized the importance of continuous learning and capability building in the defence and heavy engineering sectors. Mr. Satpathy highlighted the significance of this collaboration in enhancing technical expertise and managerial leadership within BEML.
This MoU marks a significant step toward strengthening India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem by fostering industry-academia collaboration and equipping professionals with cutting-edge knowledge and skills.
