Bengaluru: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), India’s premier aerospace and defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has announced a final dividend of ₹15 per share for the financial year 2024–25, taking the total dividend payout to ₹40 per equity share—the highest in HAL’s history.
The dividend proposal, recommended by the Board of Directors on June 27, 2025, is subject to approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). This follows the ₹25 interim dividend paid in February 2025, highlighting HAL’s commitment to shareholder value amid strong financial performance.
Each ₹5 fully paid-up equity share will now yield a 300% dividend on face value.

Dividend Timeline & Tax Compliance
In line with the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961, HAL will deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) on dividends unless shareholders provide valid exemption documentation.
Shareholders seeking exemption from TDS (under applicable sections or tax treaties) must submit the required forms and declarations to KFin Technologies Ltd—the company’s registrar—on or before August 21, 2025.
