Interview Details

The interviews will be conducted in person at the HAL Nasik facility to finalize selections for the Civil MRO project.

  • Date: December 29, 2025
  • Venue: ED (AMD) Conference Room, HAL, Aircraft Division, Nasik

The in-person interview will evaluate candidates’ technical expertise and experience in line with HAL’s strategic objectives for the civil aviation maintenance sector.

Strategic Importance of the Civil MRO Project

HAL Nasik’s pivot to the Civil MRO Project marks a significant step in diversifying its revenue streams. Traditionally focused on the manufacture and maintenance of fighter aircraft, HAL is now expanding into civil aviation maintenance, leveraging its world-class infrastructure to provide cost-effective services for domestic airlines.

The initiative aligns with India’s UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme, aiming to improve regional connectivity and promote affordable air travel while supporting local skill development in aviation maintenance. By servicing non-military aircraft domestically, HAL also aims to reduce dependence on foreign MRO providers and enhance India’s self-reliance in aviation maintenance.

About HAL

With decades of expertise in both military and civil aviation, HAL plays a critical role in India’s aerospace and defense sector, supporting indigenous manufacturing, technological innovation, and skill development across the country.
