New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has reported its highest-ever mineral production and revenue for the financial year 2025–26, reflecting strong operational performance and efficiency improvements.

Record Mineral Production

OMC achieved a total mineral production of 44.82 million tonnes during FY26. Key highlights include:

  • Iron Ore: 40.02 million tonnes, marking a 12.06% year-on-year growth
  • Chrome Ore: 1.69 million tonnes
  • Bauxite: 2.83 million tonnes

All mines met production targets through improved coordination, execution, and adoption of efficient mining practices.

Highest-Ever Revenue

OMC’s total mineral sales for FY26 stood at 42.524 million tonnes, generating a provisional revenue of around Rs 25,300 crore. The performance underscores OMC’s role in strengthening Odisha’s industrial ecosystem and contributing to national economic growth.
